Counselling Psychologist Melbourne (Boronia)
Supporting mental health including anxiety and depression, trauma, Adult ADHD and Autism, relationships and emotion regulation difficulties.

THERAPY THAT HELPS YOU UNDERSTAND YOUR INTERNAL PATTERNS AND DEVELOP A MORE INTEGRATED, STABLE AND CONNECTED RELATIONSHIP WITH YOURSELF AND OTHERS.

You may have found your way here because something feels difficult to name. You might be experiencing:

  • emotional overwhelm or reactivity

  • patterns repeating

  • relationship concerns

  • grief

  • difficulty focusing, organising, or completing tasks

  • feeling disconnected from yourself or others

  • long-term anxiety, burnout, or shutdown states

Underneath these are deeper processes that can be understood and worked with. I can support your awareness, understanding and growth in many areas of your psychology including patterns, your attachment style and relationships, trauma, emotion regulation, anxiety and depression and other mental health concerns, grief and adult ADHD and adult Autism.

I offer counselling psychology sessions in Boronia, in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs, as well as online therapy across Australia.

Where we can work together

My work is grounded in helping you be curious and compassionate and:

  • make sense of internal experience

  • understand patterns that repeat across time

  • develop capacity for emotional regulation

  • integrate different aspects of self into a more stable whole

  • become more open to the present

This is not only symptom management. It is a process of developing deeper internal coherence.

  • Our work will support you in understanding intense emotions, reactivity, shutdown responses, overwhelm and relational impact. Exploring why emotions feel intense, stuck, or unpredictable.

  • Trauma can be understood as the impact on your nervous system of things that happened that shouldn’t happen, and things that should’ve happened that didn’t happen. Trauma therapy works with patterns of protection, dysregulation, and the impact on relationships.

  • We can work together to understanding executive function, attention, overwhelm, emotional regulation, communication and relationships and sensory sensitivities. Including late diagnosis, masking, burnout, and identity integration.

  • Anxiety, depression and other mental health concerns often emerge as meaningful responses to what we’ve lived through, even when they feel confusing or hard to manage. In our work together, we take time to understand these experiences more deeply, creating space for new ways of relating to yourself and your inner world.

IT IS NATURAL TO BECOME THE BEST OF WHO WE ARE.

To be inquisitive and interested.
To express our creativity.
To embody ease and grace.

To feel balanced. To be connected.
To love ourselves.

the good news

We each have within us the capacity to access and experience our wise Self. When we move from the wise Self at the core of our being, we experience increased self-awareness, insight, self-understanding and acceptance; choice and a sense of agency over our lives; stability; and personal growth.

It’s never too late to be
who you might have been
